Value of static stability and the problem of minimization the risk of the legged machine downfall
Abstract:
The problem of minimization the risk of the legged machine downfall is investigated. Special “indangerous”gait must be used on rough terrain when the surface is deformable and even can crush. This gait make possible to restore static stability when machine loose support on the any leg. The new definition of the value of the legged machine static stability as the value of the downfall risk is discussed.
