On the algorithm of radiative energy exchange in an axisymmetric formulation of the problem
Abstract:
A grid-characteristic method for calculating radiative exchange in the case of cylindrical symmetry is presented. Using this approximation, an expression for the radiation energy density is derived as a quadrature of the absorption coefficient and emissivity of the plasma. The contribution of radiation as a source to the electron energy equation is calculated. Results of numerical simulations using the magnetohydrodynamic flow model presented in this paper for the radiating multiply charged plasma of an electrodynamically accelerated liner are presented. The results obtained in this paper are confirmed by data from full-scale experiments conducted on the ANGARA5-1 facility. The calculations performed allow us to confirm the adequacy of the constructed numerical model.
