The technique for modeling artificial turbulent fields by high-accuracy schemes on curvilinear grids in the presence of rigid boundaries
Abstract:
In this paper the technique for modeling the dynamics of artificial turbulent fields by high-accuracy dispersion-relation-preserving (DRP) schemes on curvilinear grids is proposed. A central point is the imposition of numerical boundary conditions at a rigid wall. The existing DRP boundary treatments are extended to the case of conservative equations in non-orthogonal curvilinear coordinates. Artificial turbulent velocity fields are constructed on the base of the original tensor filtering method.
