Investigation of convective structures near the stability threshold in liquids with non-uniform thermal conductivity
The paper numerically investigates stable convective structures in a fluid with thermal conductivity variyng with height or temperature. The main focus of the paper is an analysis of Prandtl number effect on the planform selection with different conductivity types.
