Specification of a wave packet using initial data in a round cylindric channel for linear acoustic problems
Abstract:
We discuss how to prescribe a wave packet in a round cylindric channel as an initial data. We consider non-zero azimuthal or radial wave numbers. Parameters of the wave packet are chosen for convenience in numerical simulaition. Explicit expressions for initial data and pressure spectrum are presented.
