Approximation of probability distributions by k-valued logic functions
Abstract:
We consider distribution transformation for random variables over a finite set. We show that substituting independent identically distributed random variables with a given distribution for variables of a specific k-valued functions, one may obtain an arbitrarily close approximation of any given distribution.
