We develop a methodology of combination of cross-national and dynamical analysis. It enables one to expand the results of long-time observations in several countries to representative array of countries having only modern data. We apply this methodology to identify common patterns of mortality and fertility changes in the world and to determine relative dynamics of theirs rates in Russia.
