Ñreation of formation for ionosphere sensing based on two satellites equipped with a passive magnetic attitude control system
Abstract:
The problem of separation of two ionosphere sensing satellites with passive magnetic attitude control system is studied. The expression for objective functional, i.e. the altitude of a connecting chord, is derived. Optimization of the separation point in orbit and the separation is performed for two types of separation: with further braking and without braking. The numerical evaluation of separation duration and is done.
