We consider the plane circular restricted three-body problem for μ=0. In §1, in the plane of symmetry, we introduce a new local coordinate system near the primary P₂. In §2, we describe the generating family c, which is born at the collinear stationary point L₁. In §3, using the new local coordinate system, we give a detailed description of those parts of the generating family i which are near the primary P₂. In addition, we give a comparison there of the characteristics of the generating families c and i.
