In the course of next few years Russia is supposed to undertake transition to Internet based government procurement systems and intensive application of modern information technologies. Work group of experts from World Bank gather and systematize materials concerning development and implementation of government e-procurement systems in different countries. Based on information supplied by World Bank and other materials published on the Web, an analysis of different directions and successful implementations of government e-procurement systems abroad is provided.
