The Boundary Value Investigation Problems of RNA Spatial Structure.
The work presents the description of the methods for numerical solution of boundary value problems related to the determination of statically stable spatial configurations of the thin elastic rod. The problems above arise while investigation of RNA spatial structure on the basis of mathematical model. In the model proposed molecular chain is considered as a thin elastic rod, which is in a helix form in unstressed condition. The parameters of the model and boundary value problem for the multy-linked chain of thin elastic rods are described. The algorithm for the solution of boundary value problem on the basis of combined gradient-coordinate decrement method.
