Investigation of Pluto flyby possibility by means of solar powered electric propulsion
Abstract:
It is considered Pluto flyby mission by a spacecraft with combining of the solar-powered low thrust engines and high trust ones. Two variants of flight schemes are investigated: direct transfer and Jupiter swing by trajectories. It is given comparison of these schemes analysis results.
