Mathematical model and computational algorithms for flow in discrete fracture network with vugs
Abstract:
The paper presents a mathematical model and computational algorithms for flow modelling within a discrete fracture network, in the presence of vugs at the intersections of fractures. The model describes convective fluid transport in fractures and vugs with allowance for the flow between them, takes into account gravitational and capillary forces.
