Numerical solution of gas dynamics problems on Cartesian grids with the use of hybrid computing systems
Abstract:
The paper addresses a numerical method for solving 3D unsteady Euler equations in problems with complex geometries using hybrid computing systems. Basic numerical scheme, implementation of inner boundary conditions on body non-fitted grids, and iterative matrix free LU-SGS method for solving discrete equations are considered. An effective approach to code the numerical algorithm for multiprocessor hybrid CPU/GPU computing system is described. Numerical verification results for several test problems are presented.
