Here we discuss plasma acceleration in plane channel caused by ion-electron interactions, rather than the variability of the channel cross section. Research show that there are stable flows with strong – a hundreds of times – acceleration occurs in narrow, thick-order inertial length of the zone adjacent to the entrance of the channel. The results of these calculations can be used for channels with variable profiles using quasi one-dimensional approximation discussed in this paper.
