This paper is devoted to the 50-th anniversary of the programming language Fortran. It contains the historical survey of the language evolution. Some of new features which introduced in each following Fortran standard are listed. The tables of statements and intrinsic procedures in different Fortran standards (from Fortran 66 to Fortran 2003) are given. Information about working draft of Fortran 2008 is communicated.
