Bifurcations in the families of local Fredholm analytic operators are considered. Operators of this kind are applied in the problems of hydrodynamics and kinetic theory. In connection with nonclosedness of these mappings ranges the modification of Lyapunov-Schmidt equation is carried out. The criterion of branching origin in homotopic operator family is obtained.
