Methods of Visual Information Indexing and Retrieval.
Abstract:
This paper is devoted to the methods of visual information indexing and retrieval. The modern algorithms based on color characteristics (color histograms, sets, and other), object shapes, and main texture are presented. Ways of motion based video indexing are considered. We report the results of the comparative analyze of some experimental systems.
