Numerical investigation of multicomponent diffusion processes in the thermosphere at four-component assumption
Abstract:
The 1D chemical-diffusion model to the understanding of the diurnal variation of major Earth’s thermospheric neutral spesies near equinox , at middle latitudes, and for quiet and high level solar activity , is presented.Main goal our studying is to investigate of processes molecular diffusion in multicomponent mixtures in the thermosphere. The special case of 4-component systems are considered explicitly. It was perfomed a check some approximation of diffusion equations and comparision with MSIS-86 concentrations data.
