On the numerical methods of modeling the motion of multibody system
Abstract:
The modifications of multistep methods ABM and BDF to the numerical solution of differential-algebraic equations of motion of multibody systems having closed kinematical loops are under consideration. The predictor-corrector scheme is regarded. Some features of using the methods to problems of dynamics, kinematics and control of multibody systems are investigated. A convergence of methods is proved.
Subsystems technique is developed for the motion modeling of mechanical systems having a great number of bodies to optimize the processes of data input, generation of the motion equations in full symbolic form and their numerical solution.
