Network operating system RUSLAN. Network devices. General description
Abstract:
This work concerns the description of network devices (disks and printers) in network operating system RUSLAN (NOS RUSLAN). NOS RUSLAN works on IBM PC under MS - DOS and lets network users share network devices.
NOS RUSLAN is hardware independent (it users packet drivers of class Ethernet to deal with network hardware) and allows simultaneous work with up to 4 network adapters.
Access rights to network devices are implemented by means of lists of users with passwords and groups of users.
This work is oriented on NOS RUSLAN users and administrators.
