Efficient numerical solution for highly transient flows
Abstract:
The numerical method is proposed for the modeling of natural gas flows with real equation of state (EoS) in the high pressure pipelines. The problem of full bore rupture is considered. At this the pressure, velocity and enthalpy are chosen as main unknown functions. This allows increasing the stability of calculations in case of real EoS usage.
