How reliable are investments in the high-tech sector?
Abstract:
The paper attempts to answer the question: what factors are associated with the rapid growth of the capitalization of high-tech companies and then their equally rapid decline. An analysis of quotations of various assets traded on world markets over the past three years is presented, the volatility index for each type of asset is calculated. The events and factors influencing the change in the trend of world markets are considered, the change in the parameters of the US monetary policy is analyzed as one of the important factors in changing the trend.
