Some problems when registering publication date in Crossref
Abstract:
Currently, the vast majority of scientific publishers register the metadata of their publications in the Crossref bibliographic database. One of the meta-attributes of any article is the publication date. The completeness and correctness of metadata directly or indirectly affects the number of views and links to the publication, and, accordingly, the ratings of scientific publications, authors and organizations. Some of the problems associated with setting this entry attribute are the subject of this work.
