Possibility of Import Substitution of Software in the Field of 3D Modeling
Abstract:
The article is devoted to the actual problem of import substitution of licensed software in the field of 3D modeling, in particular - the design of interior. The peculiarity of this area is the need to recreate a photorealistic image. At the moment foreign companies occupy the main niche on the Russian market while the products from Russian developers are not widespread or are inferior in their functionality to foreign developments. In this article the basic software products on the market were considered in details, their features and disadvantages, opportunities and license costs for different categories of users were revealed, and the examples of models built in these programs were given. The comparison of national software products was carried out on the possibility of creating their own 3d models, teamwork, importing and exporting models, the possibility of rendering, as well as comparing the cost of licenses for educational institutions. The comparison results showed that import substitution in the field of 3D-modeling is possible due to full-featured programs KOMPAS-3D and NanoCAD, however, in the field of interior design and polygonal modeling at the moment there is a lack of strong Russian developments in this industry.
