I consider the digitalization of the world and the development of virtual reality in connection with the great challenges that humanity has faced. Computerization will fundamentally change, first of all, society, and then man. The ongoing humanitarian and technological revolution has already led to the fact that the global ideologies of the industrial era – liberalism and communism – have become inadequate to the realities of the post-industrial world. I am considering an internal crisis in the space of knowledge associated with the “Tower of Babel Syndrome”. The development of the world and its reflection in virtual reality lead to the need to create a New Enlightenment program, to new simplicity that opposes postmodernity. The key to the future will probably be given by self-organization, self-formation, self-assembly.
