Ballistic-navigational aspects of small spacecraft missions to the moon and libration points
The aim of the study is to develop effective algorithms for designing and analyzing trajectories of spacecraft in deep space. In the dissertation three problems are solved. The first problem considers flights between easily accessible near-Earth orbits and halo-orbits around the L1 point of the Earth-Moon system. The second problem concerns the transition from halo orbits to near-moon orbits along unstable manifolds. The third task is devoted to saving the mission around the libration points L1 and L2 of the Earth – Moon and Sun – Earth systems in the event of an abnormal correction delay caused by a temporary loss of communication with the spacecraft or a temporary engine malfunction.
