Simulation of rotor dynamics and selection of optimal design parameters of a low-flow centrifugal pump
Abstract:
The aim of the work is to develop a methodology for calculating the main structural parameters of a low-flow centrifugal pump with half-open impellers that meet the specified requirements for the resource, dimensions, weight and efficiency of the pump, as well as allowing to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the pump, such as the ascent time of the rotor, the steady-state angular speed of the rotor, etc. An original method for calculating low flow centrifugal pumps is proposed. The dynamics of the rotor of a low-flow centrifugal pump with hydrostatic bearings is investigated. The developed method allows the calculation of low-speed centrifugal pumps for a number of industries.
