Magnetic attitude control systems for small satellites
Abstract:
The book is dedicated to magnetic control systems for small satellites. Comprehensive study results are provided for satellites equipped with permanent magnet, hysteresis rods, spherical magnetic damper, magnetorquers and auxiliary actuators: gravitational boom and flywheel. Analytical results obtained using asymptotical methods of nonlinear dynamics, stability theory, Floquet theory are supplemented with numerical, laboratory and in-flight results.
