The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Context of the Development of the Digital Earth
Abstract:
The article proposes consideration of artificial intelligence as a tool for analyzing, processing and visualizing large amounts of data in the context of the development of the Digital Earth. Some aspects of the role of AI in the context of the development of the Digital Earth, the risks and legal issues of using AI that need to be resolved are considered. The article describes such aspects as analysis and visualization of geospatial data, monitoring and forecasting of the environment, remote sensing of the Earth, delimitation of responsibility for actions performed using AI, protection of Big Data used by AI in the context of the development of the Digital Earth. The Digital Earth is envisioned as a geospatial environment with a constantly updated amount of big data, where AI acts as a powerful tool offering autonomous solutions in the field of collecting, storing, processing and visualizing information.
