The comparative analysis of three methods of the radiation transport calculation at the front ionization in the quasi-steady plasma accelerators
Research of the radiation transport in an ionizing gas streams with formation of the ionization front in the channel of the coaxial plasma accelerator is presented. Calculations of corresponding flows in quasi-one-dimensional model are executed with the account of the ionization and recombination kinetics equation based on the modified diffusion approximation. Modeling of radiation transport was carried out by means of the radiant heat conductivity, the diffusion approach, and the method of characteristics. Comparison of results of the researches adequating to specified methods is lead.
