ัreation of formation for ionosphere sensing based on two satellites equipped with a passive magnetic attitude control system
The problem of separation of two ionosphere sensing satellites with passive magnetic attitude control system is studied. The expression for objective functional, i.e. the altitude of a connecting chord, is derived. Optimization of the separation point in orbit and the separation is performed for two types of separation: with further braking and without braking. The numerical evaluation of separation duration and is done.
